Network Graphics

Email Sent August 3, 2001 Good morning,

I found your site from a link from the pcwebopedia site. I read through your tutorial and found it quite useful.

I am writing a reference about the OSI model and I believe your graphics explain it very well. I wonder if I could use the ones listed below on my site with your permission.

Hi, I ran across your color picker script while surfing the web. I would like to use the script in an HTML tutorial that I am writing for my site. Is this okay with you? Thanks, Richard Lowe

The Music of John Rhyman

Email Sent January 4, 2000

I'm writing a page about how to use MIDI files in a web site, and I need a good example of a MIDI file. I stumbled across "Winner of a life" and "Memories of you" and liked them. I think they are a good example of excellent MIDI music. May I use them on my web site? (I'm assuming that you are the copyright holder for these files). In exchange i would be happy to include a link back to your site.

Thanks, Richard Lowe

HI Richard,

Sure as long as you have a link back to my site. No problemo!!!

Take care and thanks, John

A Grandchild's Guide to Using Grandpa's Computer

Email Sent September 21, 2001

Hello, I have a joke section on my web site and found the poem entitled "If Dr. Seuss were a Technical Writer" and included it. Naturally the author was Anonymous. Someone found my page and gave me your name, and a quick search gave me your site URL.

I would like to include your poem "A Grandchild's Guide to Using Grandpa's Computer" on the page instead, with your permission, of course. It's very good, although the joke section does not appear to be the correct place for it.

I'm thinking I want to add it to this section:

http://www.friendshipquilts.com/

Currently the old "If Dr. Seuss were a Technical Writer" is here:

http://www.computerjokes.net/112.asp

Now that i understand the origins of this poem, I think I will replace the joke on that page with something else.

Thanks, Richard Lowe

Be my guest. Thanks for asking.
